I can remember not even doing brow makeup and I certainly didn’t know how to do brows! Times have changed and eyebrows have gained respect for their face framing super skills! In the recent years we’ve seen a movement of brows from the weird wavy eyebrows to the perfectly sculpted face framing beauties. I don’t know about you but as I teen all I wanted to do was tweeze mine, I had no idea how to do brows. I saw images of ladies with thin arched brows everywhere and wanted together rid of my teen brow bushes. As a teen, sometimes you have a few things to learn and we make mistakes right? Well unfortunately over plucking eyebrows can be terminal!
Over plucking can remove the brow hair permanently meaning no matter how patient you are going through the awkward growing back phase you may not be left with the teen brow we miss. So we turn to our lovely beauty products. But that just isn’t that easy, with the thousands of products on the market its difficult to know which to try so often we waste money on products that just don’t deliver.
Ever glanced in the mirror in the afternoon to find a smudged brow that you’ve probably been rocking for a good few hours? I have but not since I discovered Anastastia brow pomade. It is a life saver! Buildable, waterproof and smudge proof it keeps me covered for my day of head holding and oily skin. I don’t worry anymore about my brows moving as I can rely on this product. I can easily achieve a subtle day brow or a more architected night look.
I apply mine straight after foundation with a firm angled brush, I outline the arches then build up in strokes. Sounds simple but I appreciate it isn’t so take a look at Nikkietutorial’s video below to see how to do brows and the products she recommends and reviews.
